Besides other rides, both kids got to try out bungie assisted trampolening and shooting air rifles. Neither Jenny nor I are keen on guns. They don't get them except for ones that look like toys and shoot water. However, it does make me wonder whether at some point they should learn marksmanship.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that there will be no more Steam Fairs. I believe that it was not making enough money (for charity?) to make it viable. Is that correct?

ReplyDeleteDitto Ian. Perhaps the cost of 'pitches' for various charities increased resulting in less & less charities attending. We've been most years for the past 25 & there did not seem to be any decrease in people at the gate but there did seem to be less stall holders (or perhaps it's my imagination). Just a thought.
